Upon registering a YouTube channel through the KineMaster app, all videos made using KineMaster's music assets will be eligible for monetization on YouTube. Previously uploaded videos on the registered YouTube channel will also remain eligible for monetization.
You may need to update the KineMaster app to register your YouTube channel.
YouTube channel registration is supported in:
- KineMaster 8.0.7 or newer (Android)
- KineMaster 8.0.9 or newer (iOS)
- If you are using KineMaster (OLD), please install the latest version of KineMaster. If you are unable to update, please Email Support.
How to register your YouTube channel
1. In the KineMaster app, tap 'Me'.
2. Sign into your KineMaster account.
- If you don’t have an account, please create one.
3. Tap the three-line menu (top-right corner).
4. Tap 'My YouTube Channel'.
5. Enter your YouTube handle (@handlename) and tap Check now.
- A handle is a unique channel ID that starts with @. You can find it under your channel name on your YouTube channel page (example: @KineMaster).
6. After the channel is identified, confirm it is the correct channel and tap 'Register'.
7. Tap 'Register' again to confirm.
- Once a YouTube channel is registered, it cannot be changed or deleted.
Important notes:
- Only one YouTube channel can be registered per KineMaster account.
- If your channel is not registered, videos that use KineMaster music will receive a copyright claim. After registering the YouTube channel, claims will be automatically removed. If you do not register your channel, copyright claims will restrict your monetization earnings on future payments from Google AdSense. Please register to ensure that no claims affect your channel.
- After registering your channel, it will take 1 to 7 days for the registration to be reflected on YouTube. During this period, copyright claims may appear on uploaded videos. However, after registration is completed on YouTube, such claims will automatically be released. You can verify the release status in YouTube Studio.
