On Android devices, you can see information about how many layers and at what resolution your device supports by going to KineMaster >> Settings >> Device Capability Information.
If it says video layers are not supported, or if the numbers appear incorrect, you can run a Device Capability Analysis to manually test your device.
You can do that by following the steps below:
- Close all running apps
- Run KineMaster >> Settings
- Choose Device Capability Information
- Tap More(⋮) in the top right corner of the screen >> Run Analysis Now
- Wait for the analysis to complete (it may take a few minutes.)
Once complete, the gray boxes indicating the maximum resolution and number of layers that your device can support may update, depending on the results.
Tip: Some devices have extra options on the device capability information screen. Tap More(⋮) and check for "Layer Mode" and "High Resolution" options below "Run Analysis Now." If they are there, you may choose "Layer Mode" to use video layers at lower resolutions or you may choose "High Resolution" to import higher resolution video clips with the Media button by disabling video layers.
